I swear in our house if you really need to find something, it goes missing. But then when you forget about it, you find it the next day!
It all began around Thursday (well it actually began around since i can remember, but you got my drift.) But any who, it all began on Thursday. I couldn't find one of my shirts (a black one) and i really needed it so i asked my mom if we could go to Kmart and get a new one. So we did. And the next morning after i got out of the shower it was laying on my floor, halfway under my dresser and halfway sticking out. Now i know it wasn't there before because the day before on Wednesday i totally cleaned my room, in hopes to find it.
Then on Saturday i was getting ready to go to the teen center (as usual) and i wanted to wear a pair or red earrings that went great with my red bracelet. I clearly remember putting the pair on the top of my book shelf a few days before. So when i went to get them, they were gone. I found one by my makeup counter-thingy, but the other was totally missing. So i just wore a beaded pair that i made. Then on Sunday i was looking for a pair of shoes and found the ones i was looking for. And inside of 'em was the earring that i was looking for the night before. See a pattern???
Now the recent case of a missing thing is my dog's collar, with his dog tag and the one he got from the vet. We literally tore up the whole sun room and the whole house looking for this collar and we could not find it. So today my mom and i went out and bought him a new collar and a temporary dog tag till we can find a real one. Who wants to bet in the next few weeks it'll show up???

The Simpsons movie
So today my mom took my brother and i to the movies to see the Simpson's. You would of thought that being that this is opening day, it would of been PACKED. But behold, it was empty.
It was actually pretty funny, but I'm a kid, so its funny for a kid. I don't know if my mom liked it, but i did. And there were these people in Tye-dye that were like "WOW MAN THAT WAS AWESOME!!! SPIDER-PIG!!!". Hippies.
But in the summer you would of thought that the theater would of been air-conditioned. But it wasn't. It was cooler outside then it was in the theater!!! But it was fun.

reorganizing
So yesterday i spent the whole day reorganizing my room. And i mean the whole day.
I started at 12 pm and ended and 12:30 am. It took over twelve hours just to clean my room and move some desks. And whats even more ironic is that i just cleaned my room two weeks ago. Wow my room gets messy quick.
But it was a lousy day yesterday, so it was perfect to stay inside. I think today is the first splash of sun I've seen in a while.
And while i took my break we watched TAPS and this ghost documentary. There was more proof of ghosts on the documentary then TAPS!

a ripped contact!
So this morning as i put in my contacts my right eye felt weird. Upon taking them out and doing the "5 second rub" thingy i noticed that it was ripped. Oh boy, what a day.
After i told my mom she immediately called the doctor and asked if my contacts that we ordered had came in. Nope. But wait! we remembered that they had the right eye's prescription! So they went to check if they had it, and when they found out, they would call.
Meanwhile, my mom remembered that Sam's has contacts. She called to see if they had them and when they said they did, we were off.
When we got them they took us right to the contacts and took the boxes needed. So now i have them.
But when we were driving home, the doctor called and said they will give me a single contact for free so we don't have to open a box (they don't know that we bought 2 boxes at Sam's). So off to the city to get that contact.
I swear in 2 hours we were all over the town. From home to the airport-side-of town to the city, we were there. o well. At least i have contacts now!

A new flat iron
So the other day my mom and i went shopping. When we were out i got a new flat iron.
Normally my hair is frizzy and curly. And it is always dull and poofy. I hate it. And my other flat iron never worked.
The new one that i got is very thin. I think 3/4 of an inch. And it works!!! whoo hoo! I love the way it looks with contacts. Its awesome.

Hate mail
Well yesterday i went on to my buddy profile and saw what was a hate mail comment in my guestbook. I believe i know who it was from.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not against hate mail. I sorta like it. It shows that we all have free speech, and that some of us like to use that amendment. But that doesn't mean that i LOVE getting it. Because i don't. I just like that they are using the first amendment.
But i do think i know who this is too. I think its someone who i have been fighting with. Someone who really doesn't know me, since she said that i was "rude to everyone" when I've had people say that i was the most polite girl they knew.
And its kind of funny looking at it, too. Being that there is a comment that "I'm awesome and a good friend". I guess some people know me and some don't. O well.

Uninvited guests.
As you probably read at my moms blog, our house has many invisible house guests. And most of the "odd occurrences" happen to be in my room. Ugh.
This one night (around 12 i think) when i was watching TV in bed, this black shadow ran across my room and through the wall. Now I'm not a rocket scientist, but i believe that living people cant go through and solid wall that leads to the great outdoors.
And once when my mom was in her office (which is across the hall) she saw and young boy running in my room. And it was no one in my family because i am the youngest in the house.
And something always happens when i am cleaning my room, even though its already scary looking under my bed. Once when i was cleaning after school i told my mom (and showed her) that i tacked my summer reading study guide to my cork board so i wouldn't lose it. Then later when i was at my dresser (across the room) the study guide flew to the floor, tack and all. And i pressed that tack in tight, so that wouldn't happen.
And the weirdest thing happened a few days ago when i was cleaning. I had a bag to put trash and and put some trash in it. Then again i went to my dresser and started to clean it, but this time i took the bag with me. Then the bag was dragged across the room and when it stopped, the spun in circles. When i picked it up and looked at the door, i saw a black opaque figure, looking in. Of course i didn't scream. When my mom asked why i didn't scream, i reminded her that last time i did, no one came. Ha ha i got her there!

Wasabi's
So yesterday my mom, brother and i went to Wasabi's after my eye doctor appointment.
First of all, there was dust and hair in my water. My mom said it was just lemon, but i know it was hair. Then we we sent our waters back for ones without lemon, there was a food particle in mine. The waiter must of spit in it. Yuck.
The miso soup was good. Smaller then the Sake House's, but still good. And the appetizer that we ordered before the meal came after our lunches were served. But it was worth the wait. Of course I'm talking about the Sumo Roll (or the Wild Cat Maki at Sake house). I love that sushi. It's sauce is the best.
I love the California Rolls that Wasabi's makes. It have fresh crab, not the imitation crab that most places makes. I got the Wasabi's special ( i think that's what it was called.) It had eel, spicy tuna, California rolls, and more. And then i realized i like eel. I do like a lot of sushi though.
All and all yesterday's lunch was pretty good. I would totally get it again.

Theres a make-up for that
The only bad thing about contacts is that you can see the dark circles under my eyes. Luckily there's a makeup for that.
First i tried white eye shadow. It wasn't working out so then i tried a shimmery eyeshadow that is almost the same color of my skin. Nuh uh. Didn't work. Then my mom gave me this cover-all stick from Wet-and-Wild that was to light for her. Turns out it was to light for me too...probably from my 'summer tan', being that i am very pale.
Them i asked my mom if we could go shopping so i could buy one that matches. We did and i found one that actually works.
Then we went to Hamricks. That store is a whole post later when i have time. All i can say is that the "young attitude" looks like young attitude for a senior citizen.
I think there is knock offs in that store. There was Liz Claiborne bags there for twenty eight dollars. Liz Claiborne sunglasses were forty dollars at Belk.

Shopping
Yesterday my mom and i went shopping at the mall. Since i got contacts i was in need of sunglasses, so i figured ill find some there.
And i did. Did you know A.C Moore has them? The pair i got is black with 5 diamonds on it. They are not real, of course. And of course the sunglasses are big.
When we went to Icing i saw they had leg warmers on sale, so i bought them. And I'm wearing them right now. They are really pretty: gray, white and ice blue stripes. But the only problem is that i have no clue on how to wear them. Any pointers??
We also started back to school shopping. I already got a new tote bag and we raided the 1 cent shelves in staples. FUN FUN!

Contacts!!!
So today my mom took me to the eye doctor see if i am ready for contacts. He said yes and needless to say I'm wearing contacts!
The hardest part i think is taking them out. I have long nails and it was very hard trying not to poke my eye out with 'em!
But right now i love contacts. I look so different and i cant even feel them. I just love it!

A normal sunday
So today my mom and brother went to see a movie. So I went to my dads shop and worked on my jewelery.
I make beaded jewelery and sell it at my dad's shop. It used to be at petal pushers and art on a mission.
We just got these shells from the beach and I'm making jewelery with them. They are gorgeous!!

The Fair
So today my mom and i went to the Salem fair. What a rip off.
That cow over there practically begged for food. I think i may have even saw it put his hove up. There was this one Al Palca that looked like a poodle. It might of been mistaken for a poodle. There was even some klepto animals there. One of the goat/lama things stuck its head through the gate separating the animals and stole hay from the bale of it in the sheeps' cage. Tsk tsk tsk. This one animal was the cutest there. I dont even know what it was or where it was from. All i know is that it looks like a rabbit/ kangaroo/horse.

And the people there scared the living daylights out of me. This one vendor that we got ice cream from looked like he picked his nose before he gave my mom her cone. We didn't eat that cone. There was this guy had bragged that he ate "95 Krystal burgers". My mom laughed. She couldn't even get down two. And while we are at the food subject, there was diesel pouring into the tent where we ate. mmmh mmmh mhh carbon monoxide!
And the games were a rip off too! There was Ski Ball. You got 6 balls for two dollars. And to get a prize you needed to get 200 points. Now, I'm not a math genius, but that is physically impossible for a toddler, being that you needed to get only 50s, and most players are toddlers.
And the ticket situation! BIG rip! If you didn't get the wrist band (which is 15 bucks), you would have to pay 18 dollars for TWENTY tickets! I wouldn't even ride those rides if you PAYED me 18 dollars!
And do you believe people drive in from New Jersey and Florida to see this fair?? All i can say is wow. Just plain wow. Hicks would do anything to "get a thrill" with the one tiny roller coaster that this fair has.

4th of July celebrations!

So, as you all know, yesterday was Independence day. And it was a special one for me. This was the first year that i got to light fireworks. I know it doesn't sound like much but every year my brother lights them off and my dad told him to let me help. That made my day.
When my dad and I went to Food Lion before dinner, they had a small firework stand and there we got a firework called "Iced Out". Together my dad and I lit it and if you asked me, I would say that was the best fountain ever. It lasted for what felt like five minutes. It was gorgeous.
I also lit a couple more things. Like I lit one smoke bomb. Of course i picked the prettiest color (the blueish/greenish one). I didn't want my brother and his friend waste it by lighting it off in a cardboard box like they so carelessly did with the others.
From where my house was, we could see tidbits of the HVCC's fireworks. And what we could see, they were beautiful.
What gets me is that i could bet you any amount of money that most don't even know what they are celebrating. They are just happy they could light off fireworks legally.

Smells like July
Every July there is this bush in the front yard that blooms yearly. When I smell the fragrance lingering in the air from these flowers, i know its July.
Even if I didn't have a calender I would of known that it was around July fourth. From when I could remember, that bush always bloomed right around this time. And its a unique scent...nothing that could be mistaken for a lily or what not.
Its a b-e-a-utiful bush, don't get me wrong. But the smell these flowers give off is so pungent. But they are also pretty. These flowers are small and yellow and the smell packs a punch.
But without these flowers, it just wouldn't feel like July. From since I was little my family and I lit off fireworks with this fragrance in the background, clouded by sulfur.
I guess what I am saying is that it just smells like July.
Happy Independence Day eve! Here are some pictures of old fireworks in 2003... hopefully by the end of the week I'll have some new ones up!

Bowling
Since my dad was off of work today my family decided to go bowling. It was actually pretty fun.
Once we were there my brother and I ran to get a ball. You'd be surprised that they don't have a lot of six pound balls. My mom, being the 'professional bowler' that she is, already had a ball and shoes. My brother mistakenly handed me a ten pound one instead of a six, but there was a six at the lane.
My mom went first, then my brother, then dad, then me. I wasn't that bad at it. Of course that's with the bumpers though.
We played three rounds. My mom won all three with a high of 139. Two of the games I came in second with the high of 117. My dad mostly came in third and my brother mostly in fourth.
Bowling today was actually pretty fun. I would totally do it again ^_*.
